Hello friends,
I am a final semester BA.LLB. student of India and a CLAT aspirant for LLM in 2012. As a stay in a fairly small town with hardly any access to good law book stores, law library, lack of law faculty guidance etc, therefore i doubt if can make my way to CLAT by this virtue. So, i am unable to make out my preparation plan in a methodical, systematised & well-updated mannner. Here are some my queries-
a/ Should i undergo any coaching after completion of this course? If so, kindly name some of the good coaching centres that provides quality study material & guidance upon content prescribed for CLAT(LLM).
b/ If self-study alone will suffice, then please suggest me some good & authentic books(name of the book, writer & publisher) upon the following subjects-
i/ Criminal Law(CrPC, Criminology, IPC, Evidence)
ii/ Law of Contracts & Torts
iii/ Jurisprudence/legal theory
iv/ Constitutional Law
c/ As you are aware of the fact that there is an essay section in CLAT(LLM) question paper that consists of 2 compulsory essays containing 50 marks each. I hope comparing to the 100 marks MCQs, this 2 essays will determine one's destiny. So, can anyone suggest some law magazines/periodicals (please mention the name, publisher) that publishes day-to-day topics & has authentic study materials?
I'll be very grateful for any experienced & painstaking advice & will eagerly wait for it.
Yours sincerely,
shining_star.
CLAT(LLM) guidance please.
