I am a 3rd year LLB student in India.
I am planning to do my LLM either in UK or Canada.
So i just wanted to know if my LLB is valid in Canada.
Unless if i dont do my LLM ,is my LLB valid enough to get me a job in Canada?What % is the minimum requirement to get admitted for LLM? If i ve a green card in Canada will that help me in my studies or will that be easier for me to get a job?Most of the LLM programs would be of 1 years time period right?So soon after completing my LLM will i be able to join any firm or will i ve to do any other course in addition to my LLM..or is there any exam to give to get a job after my LLM?
I would be really thankful if somebody could help me out..

all i can tell you is that your LLB degree is valid to the extent that it will be considered a first/graduate degree in law for you to be considered for the LLM programs in canada. Besides this your LLB is not valid in canada so as to allow you to practice law. Nevertheless if you get into a Tier 1 law skool in canada and get good grades, there are chances that you may be able to find employment with a law firm after your LLM in Canada.

Ok so after doind my LLM i can get into a firm..ryt..
After completing my LLM should i ve to write any bar
exam as such to get into a job..Is work experience a criteria
to get into a job? Coz i am planning to do my LLM soon after i complete my LLb..that means i ll be having zero work experience..thats all for now..

i think best option for you would be to mail one of the canadian law schools and request a response to your query..
all i can tel you is that an llm dosent guarantee a job anywer in th world,,and its extremely tough to find employment in canada or USA..work experience of course helps..
