I finished my LLB through UNISA.
I also did my LLM, and paralegal course in the USA. Subsequently I wrote and completed the Bar exam.
I have 5 year experience at a law firm in the US.
If I go back to SA, do I have to do my articles?

Hi,
You will have to serve articles. The Attorneys Act and the regulations only provide exemption from articles for certain lawyers from Namibia and Zimbabwe. However, you can do a course of study known as PLT for about six months and thereafter serve articles for one year.
