Florida State University (FSU) has announced the launch of a new, online Juris Master in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Technology Risk Management.
In the new program, students will be exposed to the legal frameworks around the fields of cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, data science and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the program will cover basic contract law, IP licensing law, government and defense contracting, and legal and risk management issues, where relevant.
The program's curriculum includes the following courses, among others:
- Regulatory Compliance
- Cybercrimes
- Financial Privacy and Cybersecurity
- Workplace Privacy and Cybersecurity
- Data Analytics and Regulatory Compliance
The program will be delivered online, asynchronously. It's flexible, in that students will be able to take the number of courses that works best for them each semester.
Beyond the new online Juris Master in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Technology Risk Management, FSU also offers a few other online Juris Master programs, covering topics such as Employment Law and HR Risk Management, Health Care Regulation, and Financial Regulation and Compliance, among others.
