The University of Amsterdam's Amsterdam Law School has announced that it will launch an LL.M. program in Law & Finance.
For the new LL.M., the Law School has partnered with the Amsterdam Business School. Like the other full-time LL.M.s at Amsterdam Law School, the LL.M. in Law & Finance is one year long and will be conducted in English. It will cover a variety of topics at the intersection of law and finance; courses include "Business Organisations and Corporate Finance Law," "Accounting and Financial Reporting," and "Insolvency Law and Corporate Finance," for example.
According to the law school, this LL.M. may lead to careers such as legal counsel for in-house legal departments, consultants, and compliance experts in the financial industry, among others.
The LL.M. in Law & Finance will launch in September 2018.
