I agree Darya. Thank you for that input. Ego-centric/self-serving lists of qualifications are redundant and annoying if you ask me. I think we should all just wait and hope for the best.

LOL!! Yeah, let's get serious!! Only insecure applicants who love to speculate and discuss uncertain futures are welcome! You have my full support!
Seriuosly, if Yale didn't specifically ask for academic people, I think more than half of the presently admitted students wouldn't have been offerred admissions.

Lol! That's how I role! Do you mean by the above that the presently admitted students applied because they were especially qualified?

I agree with you guys.. Besides, that list which supposedly gets you through is empirically untrue and in theory unsound in the sense tht it suffers from selection bias...:)
Have slammed our dear Prof on the other thread on these grounds...

I simply meant that there are many more qualified people than those who got admitted to Yale (not me obviously!!) but they were just not meant to be in academia!! Therefore, if Yale didn't focus solely on future professors (sounds damn boring to me), many seats, presently occupied by people such as Meyer1DS, would have been taken away by someone else :) Is it clear?? No wonder why I'm not being admitted to Yale!! My writing skill is really poor...lol

I was just curious about your forum's name, and I didn't understand what was all this about. So, you actually set up this forum because you weren't admitted to Yale, and then you felt rejected from other forum? How old are you? What is this High School?
At least, you have now something to discuss about since this is the only thing you can do... And please, Don't bother replying to me, Believe me, I'll never come back here...what a waste of time...
What a bunch of losers...The Losers Forum...
