Hi all!

I have troble with requesting an official TOEFL IBT score report at the ETS. I mean I've already requested it, but now I'm worried if I did everything correct.

In HLS application information for LLM program it is specified, that Harvard Law School TOEFL reporting code is 3457, department code 03.
The main reporting code is present at the ETS and was located by the system, but the problem is that there is !!!no option to choose any department codes!!!.

When selecting department the system provides with the following choice:
-Undergraduate
-Graduate (in this category it is possible to choose between Humanities, Social Sciences, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences and Any Department not listed)
-Graduate Schools of management
-Law schools

Thus, there are no any department codes my choice was between "Any Department not listed" and "Law schools".
I chose "Law schools" and now, according to the order report, my TOEFL report is sent to the "Department: Graduate Law".
The same thing is with Columbia.
Does anyone know what does the department code 03 mean and If I chose the correct department?

The department code "03" is OK. I wonder why not use LSAC!? Especially, when it's strongly recommended....

And what does the "department code 03 is OK" supposed to mean. Is it made only for LSAC?
Well if it's right am satisfied.
I was advised not to use LSAC service by those who already made it to the HLS.
My be it's convenient, but by now im managing without it.

My understanding is that there are basically two codes: university code and department code. The latter is "03" for all the universities, including HLS. Has I answered your Q?

Look it all clear with university code, but department code...
I assume that there is a certain amount of departments and this code identifies the needed one. Where did you know that 03 is common?
That is why i'm worried if my report will be mailed to the wrong department, obviously this is not an option ).

I gather that 03 stands for Law School, doesn't it? and you are forwarding your Toefl results to a particular University (eg, Harvard) and to 03 (ie, Harvard Law School). Anyway, you may try calling ETC and checking with them. good luck!

I mailed Harvrd and the reply is still coming.
I wonder, anyone who requested orders must have met this discrepancy... V did you use LSAC?

I am using LSAC. Everything has gone pretty smoothly. Hope they won't let me down ;) I also heard about some delays, etc. BTW, I would be interested to know your credentials, Alexei.
