Anybody received scholarship from Vanderbilt for 2009/2010???

They told me the decision would be made by the first of March. But so far I got no news about scholarship from them. On account of the economic weather this year, it seems to be tough decisions for them to make.

I have received around USD 10,000/- only....but i think they used to give upto USD 15,000/- until last yr..... i guess this yr coz of the economic crisis...funding is also very difficult.

You will surely hear from them....I was offered admission in December 08, and have got the scholarship result just today.

I have applied to Vanderbilt in mid December but did not hear from them about their decision. Anyway, I am already admitted to Upenn, Bu and Fordham.

I have got in KCL also....so still not decided!! Will be seeking opinion from some professionals as to which is better for long term.....LLM from US or UK, and will then decide...Say in a months time, I will be sure where I will land

Is it too late to apply now to Vanderbilt if I hope to get an offer of scholarship in addition to AD? Although the app. deadline is April 30, the scholarships have been decided already?

Any suggestions?

as they post their deadline for app is april 4th, you should still have chances. perhaps they still have seats. But the size of vandy law is relatively small. i think no more than 30 this year
