I was accepted @ Upenn and Cornell. Upenn sent a reminder for the deadline indicating that they will turn to the people on the waitlist if I do not pay the deposit. So I believe that you guys will here from those schools (I believe Cornell will handle the matter the same way) very soon.

Has Penn stopped admitting people from the waitlist?

Hey guys...
Has anyone heard from UPENN in the last days? Do you know if they are still offering admissions to waitlisted people?

I got a mail a week or so ago where they said that they have contacted some of the waitlisted students to check who is still interested in joining their program.
According to the mail they will be accepting some of the wait listed people (who're still interested) in the 1st week of may..

Has any waitlisted applicant got an offer from Penn since May?

I was wondering whether waitlisted people still have a chance to be admitted to the program.

You mean after the email of last week? On last Wednesday I received an email asking me if I still wanted to hear from them. If yes, I should answer in 24 hours because they would close the final list until Friday.

After I answered the email last week, they havent contacted me till now. Do you have any idea when they will tell us the result? I wish they told us this week because I have to make a decision which university I should go to before this Friday. Its a tough situation for me, really.
