Do you know if American law schools are willing to accept an application for an LL.M. program in the U.S. without having already completed the university part of the German bar exam (Schwerpunktbereich)? The application would be based solely on the (more important) state part (staatlicher Teil), while I plan to complete the university part after the LL.M. program.
