Guys,
for those who are interested in doing an LLM in California, I just graduated from Hastings and it was great (I am taking the NY bar in July 2009). The program is really good, the professor have impressive curriculum and give high quality teachings. You have the choice between a lot of different subjects and you can take whatever you are interested in.
In short, I can tell you that some of my friends in other universities where complaining a lot because, they were too many LLM students, therefore nobody really cared about them. Besides, some universities don't let you choose whatever field of law you really want to study.
At UC Hastings I enjoyed the great relationship that we had with each professor,they are available and you can really talk to them regularly and define your project. However be careful because the program is not easy, you're in to study a lot too.
And is it necessary to tell you that San Francisco is the best city in the US...?!
Anyway, for those whose application will be accepted at Hastings, do not hesitate, go for it you won't regret.

Hi, if you wanna do ADR you are actually in the right place. I am specialised in M&A and did not really take any ADR classes. But a few of my friends are litigators in their respective country and specialised in ADR at Hastings. They told me that UC Hastings is very famous for his ADR program. If I am right, Hasting has one of the best ADR program in the country.
You will have the choice between many ADR classes such as: negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, mediation, advanced negotiation... I know from my friends that these classes are a lot of fun (they put you in situation to see how you manage a mediation for ex...)
