I've been awarded with a partial scholarship too, and yes it's really pricey. You can try to negociate an increase, of course

Nope, because I decided to enroll to other university. Good luck!

May I ask what is the tuition rate that you are faced with? I ask because when I compare GW to other law schools it seems to be among the least expensive. I'm just wondering if Im looking at the wrong figures.

I think it's about 45k. Am I wrong or do we have a different understanding of word "pricey"? :P

Ok, thats the figure I saw. Most of the schools in the T20 are well above 50K...with an average of around about 55K.

Tuition is slightly cheaper, but living expenses in Washington are really expensive. The university estimates this item in 26k more or less, thereby the overall cost of the LL.M is the same as other programs (with the exception of Cornell, which I believe is the most expensive program)

Hi, I have been awarded the scholarship which in my case is in the amount of half tuition waiver. The tuition fee is set at $51,330.00.
About the negotiations ...I am also concerned but since I got there through Fulbright I am officially not allowed to negotiate with the admission offices on my own...

I have been awarded also only 15k$ from GW scholarship fund. However, I decided to enroll to another law school. So someone might get additional offer.

Got 15k as well and asked for an extension of the deadline.
Their answer was: "I can only extend the deadline for another week. We have had far more scholarship applications than in years past and have many applicants still on our waitlist. The Committee needs to be fair and notify them in a timely manner as well.
The deadline is extended until April 8th and that is final. I hope that will give you enough time and that you will be able to gather the necessary financial resources to join us at GW Law this Fall."

I was always told I was a strong candidate for GW funding and got an email yesterday saying no money! Not going to go. Got very good funding elsewhere..

I got into other schools in the US with very very good aid! I just listed Durham here as it was a while ago. Minnesota offered me aid and UW Seattle did also offer me very good aid :)

Does anyone have any ideas about additional funding?
The commitee said that cost for attendance for me is 73,000$

Well... if you saved $8 for 9125 weeks you could afford to enroll... ;)
You could ask your parents for help, but at least my parents could not loan me that much money...
