Hi, everybody,
I have not yet get answers from some of the schools I applied to and I'm really getting nervous about it. Especially considering the fact that I have to give my answer to the Michigan law school on 29 March. So I would like to call tomorrow the graduate offices. I've read in some posts that you have done so. What was the reacton? Do they give the answer by phone? All your replies would be more than welcome.

Hello,
I personally sent e-mails, though I actually already had replies from my top choices and made my decision...but well, I made efforts for my applications and paid for them :). I have some doubts that any law school will reply to you on the phone. If I were you, I would (1) send e-mails to these Law Schools and explain that you have to give your decision to others by 29 March (2) try and request an extension of deadline at UMich (which is said to be an amazing law school by the way, both for the campus and the academic). But a phone call won't have any bad influence upon your admission/refusal if that's your fear.
All the best :)

I think that the only place where you will be able to receive some sort of answer tomorrow is Columbia. I think that they have made all of the decisions already. The staff in Columbia is also very nice.
It is better if you call HLS next week. Tomorrow is their last day for making all of the decisions and I am sure that they will ask you to call next week, anyway.
NYU already informed everyone that all of the decisions would be made by April 1. Therefore, I am not sure that you will be able to get any definite answer from them before that date. Nevertheless, you can try.

Thanks for your replies. I think I'll start by writing e-mails..
Matreshka, if you're worrying about the Russian postal system, you can imagine how I'm nervous about the Ukrainian one :)) I hope there will be no delays and especially no lost mails :))

So, you are Ukrainian. Its great! I don't know for what reason but i thought that you were French. Anyway, I am very happy to see a Slavic sister on this forum. It does not feel so lonely anymore.
Where in Ukraine do you live?

I did all my university studies in France, but actually I'm from Sevastopol :)) Nice to meet you too here, Matreshka :))
And you know, I was right about postal problems: I've just got an e-mail from Cornell (in reply to my e-mail) saying they sent me an offer of admission on 18 February! And I still haven't received it!
