Present yourself (who are you, why are you interested in studying in the US for LL.M. with respect to past experiences and plans for future; anything which signifies you are interesting (e.g. career specialties));
present a research topic you want to pursue;
why Wake Forest (good professor in XY law etc.).

Regards,

Any ideas on roughly how long it should be? Is one A4 page too short?

I've written mine kinda like a story of my life with law and the US.

normally th law skool wud tell you how long the PS shud be (for instance columbia says 3 pages, harvard 1500 words, arizona 8 pages..northwestern n cornell n NYU also specify th limit)..but in th absence of any instruction to that effect about 3-4pages should be enough to explain ur story!!

OMG, and I have always been one to keep it short. I have sent an e-mail to Wake asking how long they approximately want it. I guess I will have to rewrite the whole thing ;)

Btw, this is what the application says. Not very informative as to length.
