Beside being a great school, Stanford sometimes offers some very interesting classes outside of law school. For example this program that LLMs (and other grad students) can take advantage of.

It is a great program. Normal tuition is $14,500 but if you are a Stanford Grad Student you can attend for $500. While not free, it is pretty close. So that offsets the lack of scholarships a bit.
