I checked yesterday morning and the requirements list was still there, but now my list and status are blank.
Btw, do you have any idea how many people enroll each year to NYU programs (overall)?

i'll be turning down my offer today.

funny thing is, i can't see any option to do that on the "admitted students" page. they don't handle refusal well, it seems - pre-emptively ignoring it ;)

anyone know where i'd find such an option? i don't want to just let the deadline pass, i feel that'd be kind of rude. especially since i might re-apply next year. might write them an e-mail, i guess.

In your admission package there is a form which you can use to either enroll or decline. I guess sending that as a pdf would also work.

in the deferral, I usually have to guarantee that I'm not applying to any other schools, which I can't (in part because i personally might apply for others, in part because i'll also have to re-apply for some funding options, and some of them like to have a say in where you're going). couple that with the deposit, and I'm afraid I'm better off re-applying.

^ thanks. i hope so to. wasn't easy to turn the offer(s) down, very hard actually; but then again, i'm saving a ton of money ;) but seriously - i got assigned to a big-ish... well, huge-ish project. while it doesn't mean a lot of money, it's a high profile thing, and i just could not possibly turn that option down. so whatever happens, i'm okay with my decision. i think. ;)
