Hi All, just got rejected from NYU, trad program, req list was still there , same since nov 26. All these theories we had are not working so anything is possible, don't lose hope!

For me NYU was a long shot so to all of you waiting GOOD LUCK!

Do you think that they are now sending rejection mails??? Or do you think that they will still sending mail to admitted students?? sorry Edit! ...when did you get the mail? today?? what time? I'm soo worry now!

I hope the theory is wrong... but what if those applicants whose requirements list is still there, get rejected? I hope it's not like that.

gingin, people are still getting admitted, even today, you can see that by earlier posts of people, so I don't think they send just rejections from now on.

I'm getting more nervous than I was before but I will take your advice and believe that they are still sending mails with good news for us...!!

I agree with idodee. If they've decided to reject all the applicants from now on, would be easier to send a random message to all the remaining applicants.
I think we can keep our hopes!

My requisite list is blank today. From what I can read, this means a decision is soon to be made on my application.

I don't know...Maybe I will get in maybe not. I was a top 5% student and have received good offers from the other schools to which I applied. NYU is my first choice, but if they reject me, it won't be the end of the world. Plenty of fish, in this case, schools in the sea.

I think that they give out decisions by the application complete date. Mine is December 5th.

I spoke with the Admissions office over the phone and they told me that it all depended upon whether you were a foreign applicant or a domestic applicant. Foreign applicant decisions come first, because of this visa issues etc.
