Northwestern vs University of Chicago?

I would like to hear any comments/views about the two universities (aside from being in the same city that is)

Does anyone else think he/she might have to choose between the two?

thanx!

Well, even though they are in the same city they are not... NU is in downtown Chicago, in a very fancy area while U of C is in Hyde Park and believe me, Hyde Park sucks... If you are planning to party a lot during your LL.M. you'd rather go for NU as you will be really close to all the cool places and you have a pretty big LL.M. course (150 approx.). On the other hand, if you are in the U of C's program you will not have much time to party... they just kill you with the reading assignments... Both are great Law Schools with U of C having somehow more high profile professors (i.e. Posner, Eastebrook, Sunstein, Nusabum, Baird, Obama!!! hahaha, etc.). Chicago is a great city in many aspects even better than NYC and whatever choice you make you will not regret it!

Thanx for the insight. :-)
As I am into a Corporate LLM, I would like to know what do you think about NU and U of C regarding job prospects in the States?
