Haven't heard from them yet. I finished my interview last week. NWU is one of the schools I have always wanted to go to. So yeah, in my view, NWU is a good choice. Really depends on what you are looking for.

Did the school call for an interview or it was the online interview you did?
Also what course, tax or LLM?

Three colleagues were already admitted to NWU's LLM Program. Only one of them did the online interview (which is not mandatory but recommended).

Are we supposed to fill and send back the Candidate Response Form that linked to the admission letter as soon as we receive the decision email? Or can we send it back later when we finally decided to attend NWU?

You can send it when you decided to attend or if you decline by April 10

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if any of you have already made a decision to enroll in Northwestern.

I'm starting to evaluate all my options and I would like to know more about the pros and cons that your take into consideration in order to accept/reject an admision offer from this school. I got a very good scholarship, but I don´t know if it's worth the money considering my transaccional path in project finance, capital markets and M&A.

Thank in advance for all your inputs!

Hiya, just a heads up for anyone who is hoping to get some financial aid, I received a 40k fellowship last month which I have now decided to decline, so there will be more in the kitty to go round.

Hi MCP, I'm currently an LLM at Northwestern. My experience here has been amazing! I have a corporate/M&A background and the school is very strong in this field, with experienced faculty and excellent business oriented classes. I had classes of Private Equity, M&A, Negotiations, Business Strategy, among others, and can tell you they are great. Other pro for Northwestern is the classes composition, with the ideal number of LLMs and JDs, on average 50 students per class. Furthermore, all top biglaw firms in US hold several events on campus, which helps to network and find job opportunies with them. In this regard, the career center is very active and helpful, providing valuable training and advisory for the LLM students.

In less than 4 months of my LLM course I got a job offer from one of the most prestigious US law firms to work this year in NYC. At the time, the career center and faculty worked closely with me to provide the necessary training for the interviews and the whole selection process.

Finally, as an LLM you can also take some courses at the Kellogg business school, that provide you top-level training with a business perpective.

I cannot think in a con about Northwestern, maybe the weather in Chicago that is pretty cold...

I'm sure you won't regret to choose Northwestern. Best of luck
