Northwestern does not offer scholarships for LLM. We can only apply for loan!

Hello everyone!!!

I just got in Northwestern!! At first I was hoping to study in New York but I heard so many good things about Chicago that I am really looking forward to this year abroad.

That being said, I just need your opinion on something. AS I said I really wanted to go to New York because I LOVE the city. Currently I am waiting for the replies of Columbia and NYU (I don't think I will get in inasmuch as I don't have a good TOEFL...). Anyway to put the odds on my side I was planning to apply to Fordham as well (deadline 1st March). I noticed that Northwestern had better rankings than Fordham. Now that I got in Northwestern I am wondering if I should apply to Fordham anyway. What could you advice me to do?

Thanks in advance for your help!
And congratulations to everyone who got in and good luck to the others during the wait...

Northwestern offers a great program with a strong business and practical approach.

Much better ranked than Fordham. But ranking is not everything especially when it comes to LLM.

Chicago is a great city with a lot of business going around. I have interacted with the staff lately and I must say that they are super dedicated and helpful which is always a good sign.

I am sure other people share my thoughts about this university.

best,

Thanks a lot for your help! I think I will stick to Northwestern and drop the Fordham application!
