im planning to apply for LLM in USA, but im gettyn a bit confused regarding the top law schools and there admission criteria. im doing my LLB from india ( prestigious institute Faculty Of Law, Delhi University) and have 1st division as my aggrgt.
if anyone could suggest me some top colleges and there admission criteria, that would be of great help to me.

Hey,
As u r from Delhi University,u have very gud chances of being admitted in top 20 law schools.
The Top Law Schools usually have the following in common:
Resume - one page
Personal Statement
TOEFL -100 on IBT(some schools give a toefl waiver if ur entire education was in english medium or atleast ur law degree is from an english medium institution .It depends on the school)
Letter of Recommendation - 2
Transcripts(Marks list of ur Law Degree attested by the university registrar)
Application form
Application fee(usually 70-80$)
Scholarship Request Letter(If applicable)

Start early for selecting the law school which better suits u and apply early.The applications will be available in the websites usually from september for the next fall admissions.
