LLM transfer to JD

I plan to take LAST in USA, and transfer to JD, however, I have the question if the law school only accept the transference from its own school, or accept the transference from other law school?

Is there any one can help to answer my question?

Hi,

Im not too sure about transferring to the JD program, but i heard that the Unvi of Hawaii at Manoa accepts students who have done well in their LLM to transfer to the JD program, so i suggest you take a look at their web site and give them a call or mail them and find out.

As far as I know the transfer of credits to JD programs is quite restricted by the Universities. However, there LLM programs that let you finish your JD in two years. The reasoning is that they award you with 1 year credit for your international law degree...
Those universities are NU, Duke and Kansas (I am not sure about this last one but someone said that in this discussion board...)
Good luck guys!
