HI, I hail from India and i have Bachelors Degree in Law. I plan to apply for LLM Fall-2018 Intake. My score from college are in 0-2 GPA and i scored 7/9 in my IELTS exam. Should i apply to colleges or work on my application more. if more, what should be my next step?

Hi jainebhatia. Do you have any work experience or are you fresh out of university? What schools are you considering applying for and will you have strong letters of recommendation? I don't know about IELTS results as I have never done the IELTS exam, so don't know whether 7/9 is sufficient or not! Grades are definitely important but they are only one aspect of your application, taken together with your work experience, your extra curriculars, other aspects of who you are and your background and interests, and the recommendations you can put forward to vouch for you and your abilities.
