Can someone please advice me about the LLM in US Law program at Boston University? How does an LLM in US law compare with say an LLM in Corporate Law and what are its benefits, if any? Also, how reputed is Boston University? Thanks.

I am an American student and I did my JD studies at BU. I had a great experience and really like the school, professors, and location. Boston University is currently ranked #20 in the United States for all law schools.

I had the chance to meet many foreign LLM students while I was there and they all had positive experiences. I really don't know what the differences are between the general US LLM and the corporate/finance/banking LLM, but both programs seemed to be well respected.

Boston is a very international city, but it also is smaller than say New York, so I found it a great place to meet other graduate students and really feel at home. I am currently doing my LLM in New York, and while I am having a great experience here, I do miss my days at BU. Good luck!
