letters of recommendation submitted electronically?

shall letter of recommendation submitted electronically be signed by the recommender (so signed, scanned and uploaded?)? or just LOR submitted by postal mail?

Hi Beatrice, I don't think they need to be signed. I understand they are validated by being sent from the recommender's e-mail account. One of my recommenders did that (print/sign/scan and upload) but the others just uploaded the pdf version "printed" from the doc version of the letter. All of them were processed by LSAC and Harvard without any issues.
