What does mean Ivy League?
Do I have to prefer an Ivy League school rather than an other with the same ranking? Is it important if I want to be hired in NY? In Europe? for the job fair..?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
i am just a young lawyer from Brazil, but, as i know, Ivy League means a group of US east coast traditional universities, like Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Cornell, Yale etc.
Correct me if i am not right.

It is a name for the east coast universities and it refers to their athletic conference. These schools - all top academically usually refuse to give their students a scholarship based on their sports performance (which is the case at other schools). The name does not refer to law schools, it refers to the universities in general, also to the college-level. (Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia, Princeton, Univ Penn, Cornell, Dartmouth)
