Hey, I sent my application to HLS for an LL.M. program a few days ago but I have just realised that I have made few grammatical mistakes (2-3) in my personal statement. Do you think I have still some chances of being admitted or this will simply disqualify me? Any feedback will be very much appreciated!!!

i also just sent mine a few days ago, so i cant claim to be an expert on this, but i have a gut feeling that a few spelling errors cannot hurt yo campaign. if anything, to appear not only intelligent but also human(real) may not hurt. but again, am just a rookie like you...

Well, I believe that 95 % of statements have some grammatical errors. It's quite difficult to write impeccable text in a foreign language. Don't worry about it.

Many thanks, I was so much worried about this!

Don't worry, man! A personal statement is not the part of your application that can keep you out or get you in a law school (HLS as well)!

Hey Guys!
I think HLS do emphasise Personal Statements!
This is the way then can get a reflection of our personality as to whether you are suitable for their grade! Keeping this fact in mind I did work hard on personal statement to make it to perfection! Anyways also written work they demand is vital part of application sucess rates!
Anyways, some gramatical mistake would not matter a lot! All those who worked hard in life will surely suceed! Let us hope for the best!

This sounds to me absurd. Can you clarify your point? All I know about applications tells me the opposite -- the statement matters A LOT.
