Well for those who were still a bit reluctant about joining GW due to non availability of specialization in corporate law (LL.M.)
There is a good news that GW is starting with LLM in corporate law from fall 2010. i believe it will be a new specialization so it might not be ranked as such, but those who desired it, we have an option available!

Do you mean the LLM in corporate law will start in fall 2011? I suppose if they would launch it this year, they would mention it on their website in order to receive applications.

Do you know HOVA can get a bit expensive. Alternative housing can be cheaper. we can think about taking up a place together.

well i was very early in opting for one, infact i am giving it another thought, when u can really have cheaper accommodation then why opt for it. it took me one week for the slot. ... mean while where r u from ?

I am from India, i am practicing lawyer the The High court of Judicature at Patna. in the state of Bihar

So what i would suggest is that you look for other students who are about to join GW, and take up some alternative accommodation out side the campus, that will be cheaper.

So when are you planning to fly to Washington? The letter says orientation begins on 16 August.

I will be there in 1st week of august. need some time to settle out

Thanks for the advice, though am still hoping to find accommodation on campus, given how cold it can get during the winter.
