For IP: George Washington v Fordham v Cardozo

Deciding between the IP LLM programs of GW, Fordham and Cardozo.

I've been working as a lawyer in IP for several years in my home country and want to look for a job in the US after finishing the LLM.

What are your thoughts on how the programs compare? My decision is complicated by the fact that I have family in NYC...

Hi there. I have the same problem.
I think I'll be attending Fordham for the same reason, but also because it's very well positioned in the ranking and I have received nothing but the best opinions of this school. However, GW has the no. 3 program in IP and Cardozo's program is no. 9.

If the financial aspect is important for you and if you have where to stay in NYC, you should definitely think about FLS as you'll be saving a considerable amount. if not... GWL looks very tempting.

It seems to me that GW has more of an academic focus in their IP program which might not be the best for getting a job afterwards.

Can someone confirm or refute this?
