Hello everyone,
I'm a European law school student that wishes to specialize in European law. At first I thougt it would be a bit backwards to go to the US to study European law, I mean europeans should know their law better than the US right? However, since CLS has such a good reputation, I'm starting to reconsider...Does anyone know if the LLM is any good at CLS? Better than EU law at LSE?
And while I'm at it.. Can you rank the top 5 places to study competition law both in US and UK?
Thanks alot,

As far as I know this year there are at least 6 European students who work for the European Commission that are at Columbia for the LL.M. I've been told that the courses offered are excellent and that Columbia is highly considered in EU Law.

Thank you for your reply Pitch!
I am looking for an LLM in competition law and/or EU-law. Based on your inputs it seems as though CLS is a very good school regarding EU-law, but as far as I know CLS is not very respected in competition law. For example: http://professorgeradin.blogs.com/professor_geradins_weblog/2005/03/us_law_schools_.html
Can you either confirm or invalidate this?
BTW; are you a current LLM student at CLS? How would you regard my chances at CLS (or other top law schools) with these "stats"? ¨Please see this link: http://www.llm-guide.com/board/49885
Thank you again for any inputs Pitch! (Or anyone else?)
