I had sent my completed application through LSAC on 5th January, got a confirmation of receipt on the same day. Got an interview request on Jan 9th and had the interview on 12th January with the Assistant Dean. It was a very pleasant process, with her genuinely wanting to know what your interests are and how you wish to pursue them in Duke and was also very helpful with regards telling me about courses available and how I may structure my studies. I was accepted during the interview and the email regarding the same reached me about 5 hours later.

Hey RV2017, it might be too early to lose hope in the process. Duke starts reverting in January. Unless you have some specific reasons to think you've been rejected, hold on!

Considering your report and some other information i've gathered from other sources, i would say that Duke already has reviewed my application and rejected it :(

Hey all -- I applied in mid November and was accepted in early December. Had an interview and was admitted by the end of the call.
I also had good news from Cornell and NW, but so far I am considering Duke as 1st option (due to costs, ranking, smaller program)...

hey rv2017, i agree you shouldn't feel like you've been rejected already. if they wanted to they would have just done it, it's pretty easy to just send an email.

i was admitted last week but they said that very few people will get admitted before jan 20 (the deadline). they probably want to look at your application with the others :)

Hi guys, my application was completed on November 29 and I was admitted after the interview with Dean Maher on January 6.

Is there anyone here who apply for some financial aid? Do you know how much do they usually give?

My current status date is still under review, and the complete date is 12/21
does that mean I am already rejected by Duke?
Do they give admission or offer depending on region? I am a student from taiwan, and i have noticed that all of my status changed slower than people who are from other region..

I won't see the region be an issue even though my application status is like yours and I'm from Taiwan as well. A little bit nervous about my chance in Duke since there have been so many people who applied Duke later than me got interviewed and admitted...Anyway, fingers crossed and wish you (and me) good luck. :)

Have anyone got news from Duke since the January 20th deadline?
I'm starting to freak out (again).

Nope, therez no news from Duke till now.

I just turned down my offer of admissions at Duke. I hope one of you who is still waiting gets my former spot and your nerves about the LLM process are calmed.

I got in on condition that I participate in Duke's summer school (my English score is below the requirement).
