Hey guys - Just wanted to start a discussion on Duke LLM's 2022 entry. I have browsed the discussion board but didn't see a thread on Duke!

I applied on 14 Dec and received an acknowledgement on the same date. I wonder anyone who applied during the similar period got an interview yet? As I saw in previous year's discussion that some got an interview invite within days!

I had an interview with Dean Oleg. It was a very nice conversation about my personall life, goals and Duke (courses, Family life, city etcc). After 1h of conversation he admitted me to the school. Not to much to worry here. In most cases admissions are granted during the interview! Congrats!!

I applied on 4 Jan and received an interview invitation yesterday. Did anyone take the interview this year?

As far as I know, an interview takes you one step closer to an admission. Usually at the end of the interview, they make an offer of admission. 

I applied on 29th Nov and got an interview request in a week. And then the interview happened on 16th Dec and ended with an admission offer. Best of luck with your interview!

Hi. I applied on November 12th, got interview by professor Rima Idzelis on December 16th and received and admission on January 3rd. The interview was cool. It is important to know about the school and the reasons that make you want to follow the program. Greetings from Peru.

Has someone heard back from Duke regarding Financial Aids? Last time I spoke with Oleg he told me decisions would be made in early January

I was told that most financial aid decisions will be made by the end of January 2022.

Pedro, I had the interview last december. I woudnt call it a interview, its more a informal chat about what the school can offer to your carreer and future plans. We talked a little about housing, classes and a lot about how Durham can be a great city for families (in my case I plan on moving with family) I think you should be prepared to talk about your personal story. At the end of the "interview" he addmited me to the program. I would be concerned about it.

I also got accepted today and can just repeat what everyone said. Don't be to nervous it is a really convient chat. If you made your research and you are really interested to attend Duke Law there is nothing to prepare for as you will satisfy with your personality.

Congrats on your admission!!! Just wondering, for those who got the interviews, did your online status change? or it was still under review? My online status has been under review since the date of the application...
