Hey! I was aldo deferred to the regular cycle and haven´t heard a thing. have you contacted CLS??
Posted Apr 12, 2008 08:12
Yeah, and they replied with the standard answer: wait until late april. Since almost all answers are out, and my application was sent in Nov (so they already reviewed it), I don't have much hope. Maybe the deffered applicants are the last one to get a spot if any are left in the end...

I was deferred to regular cycle and last week they contacted me and requested more documentation! Who knows what that means!

Fenua24,
Who told you almost all answers are out?
What does this mean to those who have not received any CLS's admission decisions yet?

Hi! I just had the feeling, by reading previous posts that many people already got positive answers, that's all. But I might be wrong...

Does anyone got an answer from Columbia lately, or decided to reject its offer? Thank you for answering, it might give some hope to those who are still waiting!

To those who are still waiting,
CLS is still sending out offers. One of my colleague and myself were notified by CLS of our admission only late last week. So guys, just be patient...

That's good news! Did you receive a formal letter or an email? What is your credentials? Are you afresh graduate or already a professional? One more thing, did you applied through the early review?
Thanks for answering!

I think there are plenty more CLS offers to go out; it's rolling basis admission. I think they are presently waiting on responses to first run of offers, before sending out new ones.

Well, the thing is that some of us submitted their application on November the 1st for the early review and did not get an answer, so if it was on a rolling basis they should have come back to us sooner, no? Maybe they just wait till all the applications of the normal batch have been reviewed to take another look at the deferred applications.

I also applied early. haven´t heard a thing and I know a friend who was admitted last Friday. Another friend who is currently at CLS met with the dean of applications and she would not buldge on giving any information as to pending acceptances. Has anyone called them??

Hi Pipo,
glad to hear that there are still some people getting positive answers. Do you know how your friend got his answer? By regular mail or email? Did he applied through the regular review or the early such as you and me?

Hey everybody
the end of April is coming and no news from Columbia. Did some of you received any answer in the meantime?
