Has anyone heard from Columbia since early March? It seems as though they've been pretty silent... Only ones left before I make my decision!

Nope... still waiting and what worries me is they say "they will make decisions no later than late April..." That's too late for most of us.

Exactly, I hope they won't take so long! Do you guys know if in previous years, Columbia had taken so long to send their decisions to applicants?

Sounds like there are a lot a frenchies who didn't get their CLS final admission / rejection decision so far...I am in the same situation...:-(

Same situation... I know one Frenchie rejected.

I have applied through Early review and I've been waitlisted but frankly, given that i've been rejected from HLS yesterday, i am wondering whether it is really useful to wait until late april to get a rejection from CLS.

I applied early review but they asked for an extra transcript (of my Erasmus exchange Program) which I could only deliver after the early review deadline.
Therefore I got deferred and am still waiting like you guys...

I'm in a similar position: I applied early review but got deferred to regular cycle; haven't heard from them since then.

I talked to a friend who attended Columbia and he was accepted in mid April, but that was 2 years ago, don't know how it should work now. It seems that CLS has a different way to accpet or reject people, looks more like a rolling basis cause I hear all the time people been accpeted, rejected or waitlisted. It looks like we're gonna have to wait, at least until we have another deadline. I can wait until April 15th which is my deadline for NYU.

Btw, I'm not french, I'm form south america.

I am still waiting for Columbia! Sent them a mail for expedited request.

Tato2010, I am in the same situation as you : my deadline for NYU is on April 15th, so I guess I'll send an email to Columbia on April 1st or so to ask them to expedite their decision... I don't understand their system, they're really playing with our nerves!

I got accepted to Columbia yesterday! So, I guess, after a silent spell, they are sending out responses again...

Were you on a waiting list following an early application?
If so, it might be a really good news for a lot of ppl on this forum :-)

Sorry! I hadn't heard anything at all... And I thought my getting in was a bit far fethched so i didn't really follow up with them... It came right out of the blue!
