I am a LLB degree holder from an Indian UNiversity and wish to apply for LLM in IP laws frm US University and would really like to know if it is mandatory for me to give LSATs?

Yes, that is correct. LSAT is required for JD admissions, but not for the LLM. Check out the admissions websites of the law schools you are interested in. You will find all information there.
