Advice - Admission LLM

Hi everybody

I’d like to talk about the admission for an LLM.

I’m a student from Belgium, and I want to apply for an LLM. I failed one year of study (the third year) because of personal reason, and now I am slightly below the 70 percentile. I’ve got involved in extracurricular activities.

What do you think about that ? Do you have any advice ? What do you recommend, or do you have some experience to share ?

Hi Gerard,

You didn't provide any information on work experience or the kind of extracurriculars you have engaged in. If your question is "Can I get into ANY LLM program?" then yes, you probably can. If you want to get into a top school, it really depends on how strong your application is. As I have said before: put a lot of effort in your personal statement and try to get very strong recommendation letters.

I fully agree with the above reply. You should provide us with more information about your educational background as well as about your plans for the future. A LLM is a means to an end; what's your goal?
