Hi, farwest
I am in Tokyo. I have been admitted to the Boalt Hall.
Are you admitted to Stanford?
If you are still waiting, I keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hi, everyone!
I got in to BU Banking and Financial Law program.
I am still waiting for decisions from Queen Mary, Virginia and Northwestern, however, I may withdraw all of them and accept the offer from BU.

I'm waiting for the decision from Stanford but will not be accepted. I intend to choose Columbia.

Columbia is also excellent school, I believe.
And the school also requires highest ability to admit.
Many people wish they were you.
But, if you are admitted to Stanford, we will meet together under the California's sunlight.

Hi, Cafetier,
Are you a banker or a lawyer?
I am a banker, so I also considered to apply BU.
BTW, all the rest of your applied schools are reputable schools. I do not think that you should withdraw. I believe that their decisions are enough valuable to wait.

Hello, Taka
Congrats to get in to Boalt Hall!
I think CA is nice place to live and heard Boalt has great faculties.
I am an attorney specializing in securitiization.
I would like to study in the U.S. and broaden my knowledge on corporate finance practice.
If I emphasize the aspect of "Corporate" rather than "Finance", as you said, Virginia and NU may be better for me.
However, I have less interest in anti-trust, bankruptcy, M&A and other corporate or commercial law related topics.
On the other hand, BU Banking is richer in courses relating to finance topics.
To be honest, my TOEFL-CBT score is so modest (Oh, please don't ask me iBT score), I think there is less chance to get in to the above-mentioned schools.

Hi everyone!
Congrats to you all!
I was admitted to Stanford and intend to go there.
Has anyone decided which summer program to go?
I don't have much information about the summer programs so it would be grateful if anyone of you have recommendations.

What an achievement, Donald!

Hi guys!!
I'm from Tokyo too. I'm planning to concentrate my studies on capital market issues.
I've been admitted to Columbia, Penn, Duke and Cornell. I'm still waiting from Harvard but looking at other post, i don't think I have a chance.
See you guys in NYC.

Hi Donald,
Don't know if there's any Japanese addmitted in Corporate LLM; but I learned from a friend from Harvard that there'll be a Japanese student joining the SPILS program this summer who is right now a current LLM candidate in HLS. Yeah, she'll be doing another degree in SLS after obtaining her LLM degree from HLS!
Hope you'll find the above information helpful.
BTW, glad to know that you'll be attending SLS this summer, as I've decided to go there too. I'm also addmitted to the Corporate program.

Hi blooming,
Thanks for the information.
I have a few friends who are currently attending HLS, so maybe it could be one of them.
I'm also glad to know that you are going to Stanford this summer. Looking forward to see you there!
