I submitted an application to UK university awhile back, I should be hearing in the next day or so. I found a random e-mail about November postgrad events from the UK school emailed to my school account. Heard nothing yet. Is this a hint of anything, or am I reading into things far too much? ...Oh, the suspense..

I think you're overreacting... I still receive emails from the University of Glasgow even though I withdrew my application even before they made a decision... and I still get emails from Aberdeen, almost two years after saying no to their offer... They've probably just included you in their mailing list... I know the suspense sucks...

ya beicon is right. they just automatically add you onto their mailing list..and i also still receive emails from universities that i applied to.

just relaaxx..im sure youll hear from them soon with some good news
