UK Lockdown and COVID-19 Implications

Hi all, wonder if anyone is having the same concerns? UK's COVID-19 is so bad the government is considering a "lockdown" next week even after all the tiered measures, and it's highly likely that even in September 2021 it still won't be the full overseas University experience with fun parties, large-scale networking events etc. And fees are SO expensive after Brexit....

Many articles also say admission chances go down as there is always a boom in applications during a recession....any thoughts on this?

Should I just wait and apply next year since there may be a huge rise in applications this year, and applications are time-consuming and add up to be quite expensive?

Maybe two years even. I was supposed to take the second part of the QLTS last November, but procrastinated and was going to do April, but now I’m kinda like in limbo, not sure when I’ll knock this thing out.
