UCL of QM for International Commercial Law

maram

I have received offers from both these colleges, but I have no idea which one to choose. I want to study international commercial law and, in the future, I would like to work in an international environment. My background is based on continental law and my understanding of common law is somewhat limited.I will consider taking a summer course to get familiarised. What do you suggest?

UCL is obviously more prestigious, but QMUL has an excellent name for commercial law in the City (it's their main specialism and they have an whole separate school dedicated to it). However, if prestige/ranking is important to you and your courses are available, I'd probably go for UCL.
