hey!!! i stuck with the exact situation what you have... i am holding the conditional offer from UCL, KINGS and QM and so confused that i am able to pass 75 percentage after participating in presessional course because i got only 6.5 from ielts instead of 7.5
anybody know that it is possible to defer the conditional offer over next year

I'm in the same situation.
I have gor conditional offer from UCL, Kings, QM and SOAS.
UCL's condition, IELTS 7.5, is too high for me to get within a few months.
Kings requires overall 7.0, but 7.0 in writing and reading, and 7.0 in writing is high bar for me.
So, QM or SOAS are left...or pre-course???
I want to know the difficutlty of getting 75% in final examination in pre-course.

in my hummble opinion, it would be waste your opportunity to go UCL or KINGS due to lack of english. the test must be achievable provided that you can effort enough to pass within 2 or 3 months pre sessional course... there are two options that you can defer your offer or take pre sessional...
good luck mate...

It is not that difficult to pass the 7.5 requirement after the pre-sessional courses if you study hard. Actually, some students were allowed to enroll in the llm program last year even though they did not pass the 75%. Just give it a try and good luck!
