HI all,
I am a British citizen studying a LLB in South Africa. I was wondering if anyone knew what I would have to do in order to practice in the UK?
I was under the impression that there was some sort of year long course to convert from Roman Dutch Law to English Common Law.
Please Help!

Go look at the (UK) Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Bar Council.
The LLB is just the academic side, and unless you've done the core subjects, you'll need to do the one-year law conversation (PgDL / GDL). Thereafter you need to complete the professional element (e.g. LPC or BVC) and then the training requirement.
Until you've done all that, you can't practise as a lawyer in the UK.
