Hi, I hope that someone here can help me as I cannot find any usefull information on my scenario. Maybe someone has been in a similar situation?  I am a South African studying LLB through the University of South Africa aka UNISA (correspondence).   I am in my 3rd year but would like to continue my studies in the UK and ultimately practice there.  Can I transfer to another University in the UK and just carry on with my degree without losing any credits already obtained? Or even carry on through Unisa as they do have an examination centre in the UK?  What is the whole procedure for becoming a lawyer/solicitor in the UK ?  Or would it be better to complete my degree in South Africa and then just do the training programme in the UK?  Is there any additional programmes/tests, etc that a person from another country has to sit to qualify to practice/study in the UK?  Hope someone can give me some sound advice as I have tried all other options - Universities in the UK, SA, institutions, etc but nobody seems to be able to give proper advice.

Thanks in advance
