I am rather terribly confused with the PPH concept and desperately seek answer to the fact as to how different is a PPH experience from a college experience in Oxford? What and how much of a difference does it make to pursuing a Masters course in Oxford?

PPH's are just like really small colleges.

They usually have far fewer students, and sometimes specialise in a particular subject (or in students of a particular denomination of religion). Because they are smaller, that may mean they sometimes lack certain social/sporting opportunities, or it may mean that these are shared with another PPH or another college. Alternatively I am sure many people would say that the smallness makes you feel more part of a community. Or something like that.

I don't think many BCL/MJur people would have ended up at PPH's but I may be wrong...
