Oxford LLB

Hello, I am currently thinking of applying to Oxford, I am from Canada looking at attending Oxford for the LLB. I am a graduate with a Bachelors in Criminology who wants a law career in Europe, I am just wondering if many people have done there LLB at Oxford and if they did it as an affiliated student in two years. If anyone has done the affiliated program in Oxford would you please inform me on it or would you suggest on just doing the normal 3 year program. And how much did you liked the way they set-up of the course in tutorials.
Thanks in advance mostly appreciated for any advice.

Regards,
Bryan

Good Gosh

i got an offer for the programme a while back as a senior status/affiliated student . it's a very demanding course but definitely worth it if you can get on it. i actually went for the affiliated course at cambridge, which i preferred as it allowed more choice. it's more difficult to be admitted as a senior status student, but it's worth it, i think. i would advise you to steer clear of harris manchester and the weaker colleges. good luck with it!

Hello im wondering if people can tell me if this table is correct for degree conversions from UK to Canada or if this table is totally wrong?
UK USA Canadian Percentage
First 3.8-4.0 3.3-4.0 70-100
Upper 3.3-3.79 3.0-3.29 60-69
Lower 3.0-3.29 2.7-2.99 53-59

Could someone also rank 1-5 the top LLB programs in the UK, or are they much like the LLM rankings.

KCL equates a UK Upper Second (2.1) honours to the following minimum Canadian grades:
77%
B+
3.3
7.0

In which case 3.00-3.29 is too low.
