Anyone hear yet?

I spoke to a very nice lady at the Graduate Admissions Office today and was told that in the vast majority of cases even the college nominated as first choice on the application form hadn't reached a decision yet and that the process might accordingly take a little longer than originally anticipated (the official deadline was last Friday).

I have received an offer from my first choice college (Christ Church) yesterday. The letter is dated 26 April 2006. Decisions of first choice colleges were due on 21 April 2006, but the "Notes of Guidance" say that the process may take considerably longer.

Btw: Anyone else coming to ChCh?

I received an offer ftrom my first choice college, Balliol, on Thursday. It was also dated 26 April.

I received an offer from corpus christi which was my second choice. haven't heard from my first pref., balliol.

Why not make this topic the "Oxford class of 2006-2007"-topic? Maybe Jw can change the subject title into Oxford class of ....+ colleges

I got admitted to my first choice college New College. Letter was dated 21st of April.

I was admitted to my first choice: Magdalen. Letter dated 12 April.

As I mentioned in another topic (why 2?), I am going to be a member of St. Catz...

I actually started this thread and someone suggested (above) that I re-start the thread, using "2006-2007" in the title, to notify what year i was talking about....

haha, and that someone was me...:p I just wanted to have some kind of an overview about who is going to Oxford next year.

Anyway, I am a 23 years and I am Belgian.
