Reporting an offer for the MSc in Taxation! Via email. Was previously rejected by the BCL. I don't know what group chat to join!
Got a conditional offer for MSc in Taxation, first via mail and the portal got updated a few hours later. I too am looking to connect with MSc Tax candidates.
Yesterday, I reported an offer for MSc in Taxation. I want to thank the applicants on this forum for helping with the queries and sharing the developments, it has been a huge help through the application process, this is a very helpful forum.

If it helps anyone here, my upload button disappeared sometime on Tuesday, 19 March and I got an offer on 20 March. First got a mail from the MSc Tax ID, the portal at the time still had the status "ready for assessment", then a few hours later, the portal got updated with the offer documents. This was followed by a mail from the graduate admissions office.

Thank you and all the best to everyone here!

Hello everyone - I received a tempting offer (funding wise) from a college at another University, but they have asked for a response very quickly (early April).  Does anyone know if there is any point in me writing to the law faculty at Oxford to see if they can expedite any notification to me on funding, or would doing so be pointless given decisions seem to follow an assessment of applicants as a gathered field, rather than on an individual basis? :/

From what I've gathered, the Faculty starts making funding decisions only in April once at least a signifcant chunk of the offer holders have been given a college place. At the moment it seems that a few minority of offer holders have been given a college, so I expect they'll definitely want some time. This is especially since, as you say, applicants are considered as a gathered field (i.e. compared and ranked against each other) rather than individually (like Harvard does its funding applications - i could be wrong).

Is that the WM Tapp Studentship, by any chance?

Thanks for your response! Not the WM Tapp - although I did apply for that and have not yet received a response (if that’s helpful) :)

Hi team - BCL offerree here. I put a college as my preference, but understood that many of the colleges would offer scholarships in conjunction with the Law Faculty which did not require you to preference that college. I have now received an offer of a scholarship from the college I preferenced (expressed as in conjunction with the Law Faculty), but it is not particularly generous compared to those offered by other colleges. Does anyone know if it is a “one and done” type scenario, or might I still be considered for scholarships by other colleges? Thanks

Hi! I just received an offer from Cambridge (LLM) a couple of days ago. I also have an offer from Oxford (BCL). I was initially pretty set on going to Oxford but wondering if I should be considering Cambridge instead? I intend to take up public law courses mostly focused on constitutional law, equality law and environmental law. Does anyone have any advice for me?
