@Zelda: Haven't you already accepted your place at Ox? Is there any special reason why you haven't withdrawn your application at Cam?

I'm off to Columbia myself, but I'm informed that the LLM is a better choice for lawyers interested in working internationally, esp in the US. Also Cam costs considerably less.

In continuation .... this probably because Cam is the third richest institution (apart from the government) in the UK after the Queen and the Church.

Hi,
I've been accepted to University College to read for MJur program at Oxford. Does anyone have any experience/useful information with/about Univ College?
Have those of you who have been admitted to BCL/MJur programs received any additional information about registering, living, studying ect. at Oxford (apart from acceptance letters) already or not?
Thanks in advance. Regards
Jiri

Hallo Jiri,
Univ. is a marvelous College to stay. Depending on your subjects, for example jurisprudence, it is even a great college. I have visited Univ. last October. I have been accepted for the M.Jur. programme at Keble College and have send my acceptance letters to Keble and to the Law Faculty today. What courses do you want to take?

I don't think college makes any difference for study at the BCL/MJur level to be honest. Neither lectures nor tutorials are done through the college.
It seems as though some colleges (Magdalen, Keble, St. Peter's, St. Catherine's, maybe Lincoln) take a disproportionate share of BCL/MJur students. I have heard that Magdalen take around 8-10 BCL students and St. Peter's 12-15 each year, whereas other colleges (Balliol, Queen's) take very few, perhaps only 1 or 2 in any given year.

Hi - I'm still debating on where to go.
Joseph1 - have you heard which college you will go to in Oxford?
