Nottingham Uni- International Human Rights Law

Hi, I'm going to Notts to study International Human Rights Law, I was wondering if there are other persons here who are going there as well....

With respect to the program, I realized that all the potential human rights jobs require previous working experience. As I already made 2 internships and after the LLM I would like to get a proper job, I made some contacts with an NGO based in Cordoba, Argentina. However, the wage in really poor, but I was thinking of getting a part time job in Nottingham and then go and get some experience on the field.

What do you think? Do yo uhave any experiences of this kind?

Hugs, Moni

Not altogether clear what sort of job you are looking for. If you are looking for part-time work while doing the LLM occasionally one of the professors will be looking for someone to help out on a project. If you are just looking for any old job then there are plenty of coffee shops/bars etc in Nottingham. Moving on afterwards I would advise talking to your lecturers, Nottingham produces a lot of International Human Rights graduates who must go on to do something (lets hope!) so they should be able to give you better advice than I can. Best of luck with it!
