not expected Rejection!

Exeter rejected me !! didnt expect it at all
got an offer from Sussex but didnt receive the Official offer yet . what do you think of sussex?
KCL application still on stage one ... been 3 weeks on stage one
QMUL didnt even bother to send me confirmation of having my application or giving me an application number , but finally one of the staff answered my emails and confirmed that they do have my application
Bristol they sent me an email to confirm that they have received my application 1 month after sending it.. pretty wierd !!
Leeds still pending
Kent still pending
Sheffield sent it last week
Edinburgh sent it last week

am thinking about Cardiff right now , might send to Warwick too eventhough i think its abit late for it . if not for wariwck then to lancaster or East Anglia ,what do you think of Lancaster anyway?

First of all, don´t panic! One or more rejection is absolutely normal, everybody got one, so did I too. I see that you applied at several schools and even already got an offer from Sussex, so you shouldn´t worry anymore. I think you´re talking about the fall 2006 intake? Give Sussex a call to ask whether everything´s safe with their offer, if it is then you can lean back and relax. If I was you I wouldn´t send out any more applications by now. Actually chances are good that you´ll receive more offers from some other schools too. By now I wouldn´t start a completely new application process with schools that you don´t seem to be really sure about..., seeing that you already have an offer from a good school.

What can I say but, wait till you hear back from Edinburgh before making any hasty decisions ;-) I hope that you get an offer and are able to come to our fine country and campus to complete the LL.M.

Creating applications can be hard work, so rather than getting too worried, follow the advice offered from Matthias above and find out what the nature of the Sussex offer is. I assume that you applied only to the institutions that you would like to study at, so even if you received only one offer, would you not take that? What made you decide on Sussex in the first instance? At least then you can relax in the knowledge that no matter what else happens you have one offer sorted out.

feel for ya man...just be patient and keep at it. dont worry about the summer approach - many offers are still yet to come because unis are receiving replies to their offers
